(WLNS) – The Michigan State Police are in the process training new recruits.
On Tuesday they held an agility test for those recruits.
Organizers say that it’s a tough, demanding job and tests like this help make sure that the applicants know what they’re getting into.
“So it’s very important for them to be physically fit. Like we have a saying in the gym where it says when you choose law enforcement, you choose to be fit,” said Sgt. Dwayne Gill, Michigan State Police.
This is week 6 of the 128th trooper recruit school.
