City Council Seeks Public Input On City’s Budget

LANSING, MI (WLNS) – Body cameras are something the city of Lansing put into their budget for the upcoming fiscal year and today the city council wants to hear from you on the budget.

They are hosting two public meetings one today one tomorrow.

The council would like to give people in Lansing the chance to learn about the budget and ask questions.

The nearly $200 million budget includes the equipment for Lansing police as well as money to create an inspector general position for the Lansing Board of Water and Light.

Today’s meeting starts at 5 p.m. and it is happening at the Foster Community Center on North Foster Avenue.
