Police Searching For Suspect Charged With Murder In February Shooting

JACKSON COUNTY, MI (WLNS) – Officials in Jackson County are asking for your help today. They are trying to find a man who they believe is responsible for a deadly shooting that happened two months ago.

26-year-old Troy Johnson has a bench warrant out for open murder and weapons charges. If you have any information on where this man is you are asked to call the Jackson Police Department or Crimestoppers.

Police believe he is the man who fired the gun that killed 23-year-old Jason Brewer in February.

Officials found Brewer in his car in a snow bank with a shot in his head. Brewer was alive when police found him but died later in the hospital.
