EL Police Release Post-Basketball Disturbance Arrest Info

(WLNS) — The East Lansing Police have released the identity of ten more people arrested during disturbances following the recent Sweet 16 and Elite 8 disturbances. The ten have been arraigned in the East Lansing 54B District Court. All ten are MSU students. Arrested during the Sweet 16 disturbance was Nathan Bradford on charges of (1) Disorderly Conduct – remaining within 300 feet of an open fire. (2) Minor in possession of alcohol.

Nine other students were arrested during the Elite 8 Disturbance. They are:

Jacob Oostendorp
Charge: Disorderly Conduct – remaining within 300 feet of an open fire.

Dhiraj Surapaneni
Disorderly Conduct – remaining within 300 feet of an open fire.

Nathan Garza
Disorderly Conduct – remaining within 300 feet of an open fire.

Wilson West
Disorderly Conduct – wrongfully throwing or propelling an object toward any person or automobile.

Charles Thompson
Disorderly Conduct – remaining within 300 feet of an open fire.

Nicole Robbins
Disorderly Conduct – wrongfully throwing or propelling an object toward any person or automobile.

Manny Alalouf
Disorderly Conduct – wrongfully throwing or propelling an object toward any person or automobile.

Emily Simons
Disorderly Conduct – wrongfully throwing or propelling an object toward any person or automobile.

Shantai Yaw
Disorderly Conduct – wrongfully throwing or propelling an object toward any person or automobile.

There were also ten arrests following MSU’s loss in the Final Four this past Saturday. Those are still being processed.
