Grand Rapids Receives $1M For Future MSU Biomedical Center

GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WLNS) – Michigan State University researchers are expanding to the west side of the state.

State officials announced their million dollar plan to help clean up a future MSU research facility in Grand Rapids. $1 million dollars will go towards improving the former Grand Rapids Press building.

The future Bio-medical Research Center will reportedly cost $85 million to build and will span roughly 160,000 square feet with multiple stories. The center is set to open in two years.
