Fire Crews Investigate Early Morning House Fire

LANSING, MI (WLNS) – Fire investigators in Lansing will be sifting through what is left of a vacant house today looking for the reason it went up in flames.

Fire fighters got the call around 2 a.m. to the house on the 100 block of Isbell Street South of downtown.

At the time flames were shooting out of the first and second floors.

After knocking down several walls inside, it took firefighters roughly 45 minutes to get the flames under control.

No one was living inside and the house was destroyed.
