Nissan Recall

(WLNS) – Japanese automaker Nissan is under investigation by U.S. officials about the effectiveness of a pair of recalls.

Just under one million cars and SUV’s were called back in 2013 and 2014 after the company discovered a problem in the computer software.

The issue was the software may not have sensed when an adult was in the passenger seat and there is a chance the airbags may not properly inflate during a crash.

Nissan says they fixed the problem however, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, they have received more than 100 complaints about the problems after the repairs were made.
