(WLNS) – It is not up for a vote but many Michiganders are waiting for a ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court on same sex marriage.
For roughly 300 couples it was a very happy anniversary weekend. Four counties allowed same sex marriages to take place briefly one year ago on Sunday. One of them was Ingham County.
Arguments in the same sex marriage case at the Supreme Court are set for next month. A decision is not expected until late June.
