Gas Leak Causes Afternoon Scare At FRIB Construction Site

EAST LANSING, MI (WLNS) – Police were on scene on Michigan State University’s campus Wednesday afternoon due to a gas leak.

It happened around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday when a construction worker at the FRIB construction site accidentally struck a gas line.

The construction site was evacuated, but MSU classes were not.

No one was injured, but police say all pedestrians should avoid the area until further notice.
