Jackson City Council Talks Pay Raises

JACKSON, MI (WLNS) – Lansing officials are not the only elected in line for a raise. The Jackson City Council is also discussing a small increase.

If approved Jackson’s mayor will get an extra $1,000 a year for the next two years and council members would see their pay increase an extra $750 a year during that same time span.

The council plans to talk about the increase during a meeting tonight.
