MI Congresswoman Announces Retirement

(WLNS) – A Michigan congresswoman and the only woman to chair a house committee is retiring from Congress after her term expires next year.

Representative Candice Miller announced her decision on Thursday. She did not give a reason other than saying she wants to come home.

Miller is the Chairwoman of the House Administration Committee. The 60-year-old was elected to Congress in 2002.
