Ingham County ISD Selects New Superintendent

INGHAM COUNTY, MI (WLNS) – The Ingham Intermediate School District has their new superintendent.

The Board of Education says Scott Koenigsknect will replace outgoing Superintendent Stanley Kogut who is retiring. Koenigsknecht had been superintendent of the Fowler schools before going to his current position with the Montcalm Area ISD.

He will begin working with Kogut next week to learn how Ingham ISD operates. Kogut plans to retire in June.

The Ingham Intermediate School District supports 12 local school districts and 10 public school academies in its service area that reaches into 7 counties in the mid-Michigan area. The local school districts include: Dansville, East Lansing, Haslett, Holt, Lansing, Leslie, Mason, Okemos, Stockbridge, Waverly, Webberville and Williamston.
