(WLNS) – Opening arguments are set to begin today for the trial of Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.
A jury panel of eight men and ten women will decide if Tsarnaev should live or die. He is accused of setting off two bombs near the finish line of the Boston Marathon in 2013. The attack killed three people and left more than 260 hurt.
Tsarnaev’s brother was also a suspect but he was killed in a shootout with police days after the attack.
If Tsarnaev is found guilty he faces the death penalty.
