Fowlerville Family Burned Out Of Home

(WLNS) – Fire investigators are still trying to determine the cause of a fire that left a Fowlerville family homeless Monday.

Firefighters were called to a home on the 100 block of East Street just after 8:00 a.m. yesterday. When they arrived the house was burning and there was heavy smoke. The parents, children and family pets all escaped safely.

The investigators are looking at an electrical problem as a possible cause. Fire officials tells 6 News that the house is a total loss. The Red Cross is assisting the family with temporary housing and other needs.
