(WLNS) – Livingston County will be hosting an upcoming town hall meeting to help educate the public and voters about road funding as well as a controversial statewide ballot proposal.
According to our media partners at WHMI, the town hall meeting will be held in board chambers on Wednesday March 18th at 6:30pm, with representatives from the Livingston County Road Commission as well as the Southeast Michigan Council of Governments expected to provide educational presentations and answer questions.
Michigan lawmakers approved putting a sales tax and road funding proposal before voters in the May 5th election.
The event is open to the public.
