Hillsdale County Man Found Shot To Death After Domestic Violence Call

RANSOM TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) – Police are investigating the shooting death of a 47-year-old man in Hillsdale County’s Ransom Township.

Authorities say sheriff’s deputies found James Momenee’s body about 1:45 a.m. Thursday after responding to a domestic violence call at a home on the 10000 block of Tripp Road.

Undersheriff Roger Boardman tells our media partners at MLive.com Friday that the complaint involved a married couple.

Boardman said, as of Friday morning, no arrests had been made in relation to Monemee’s death, which is still under investigation.
