(WLNS) – A mid-morning water main break has forced students at Kendon Elementary to move classes to Lansing STEM for the day.
The break, first reported at 9:30 a.m., led to the shut off of water in the Kendon school. Students and staff were taken by bus to the Lansing STEM on Hampton Drive.
They will continue their classes and have lunch there. The Kendon students will be returned to the school at 3:00 p.m. for their regular dismissal.
The Lansing Board of Water and Light is currently working to repair the water main break. No word on when those repairs will be complete.
