UofM Survery Shows Growing Economy Increases Work Bonuses

ANN ARBOR, MI (WLNS) – A new survey by the University of Michigan finds local governments are giving more bonuses now that the state’s economy is improving.

Out of the 72 percent of city governments that responded nearly half of them gave employees a pay raise in 2014.

That is compared to just a quarter in 2011. Despite the increase more workers are paying more for health care.
