(WLNS) – Officials at Cadillac are mapping the future of their brand, starting with the look and feel of how the cars are sold and get this, it could include holograms.
Our media partners at MLive say that part of a $12 billion investment into the Cadillac product includes major upgrades to some of the 900 showrooms across the country.
For some smaller dealers, the move will change them into focusing on a boutique style showroom.
That could include high-end technology like virtual showrooms where customers can customize cars and their ride on a hologram.
The move comes as part of a re-branding effort for Cadillac that includes moving the company’s global headquarters to New York City and spinning the brand off into its own business unit.
