Single-Engine Plane Crash In Lowell

LOWELL, MI (WLNS) – The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating what caused a small plane to crash just feet from a home, near Grand Rapids.

Officials say the single engine plane went down just before 6 Monday night in the city of Lowell which is about 15 miles East of Grand Rapids.

Kent County deputies say the plane hit trees and crashed into the driveway of the home.

Luckily, the pilot was not seriously hurt.
