EAST LANSING, MI (WLNS) – The case against an East Lansing man charged with shooting at a Meridian Township police officer is expected to move forward today.
There is a pre-exam conference scheduled today for 32-year-old Timothy Arrington. He is facing six felonies including: assault with a dangerous weapon and wearing body armor during a violent crime.
State police say Arrington started shooting at the officer after the official arrived at his house on January 4th to follow up on a domestic assault call.
That officer returned fire but luckily no one was hurt.
