MSU Spartans Preparing For Cotton Bowl

(WLNS) – Just three days from now, 18 Spartan seniors will suit up for a final time at AT&T stadium.

How fitting, the world’s finest stadium plays host to a senior class that’s taken MSU football to an elite new level in the world of college football.

“I’m trying to keep with my teammates and just embrace the last time we’ll be in the meetings together or something like that, I’m trying not to think about it that much, but I’m thinking about it when we’re leaving the stadium,” said Tony Lippett, MSU senior receiver/defensive back.

“I just think it’s a huge credit to coach D and what he’s done with the program.”

“It’s been so special to be part of a coach D football team. I’m sure I’ll enjoy it a little more when I’m older.”

“I’m still focused on the day by day, but yeah it’s been a really special experience being a Spartan,” said Travis Jackson, MSU senior offensive guard.

With a win on New Year’s Day these seniors will become the winningest class in MSU football history, tying last year’s senior class, yet another stat proving this is a golden era for the green and white.
