(WLNS) – The Spartan football team aren’t the only ones gearing up for the big game on Thursday.
The MSU Alumni Association has some fun plans of their own.
In less than 24 hours a whole slew of Spartan fans will be hitting the road to Capitol City Airport where they will fly down to Dallas for the 2015 Cotton Bowl.
The alumni organization scheduled a series of activities including tours of Dealy Plaza, the JFK Museum, AT&T Stadium and of course a trip will include an opportunity to see the MSU marching band battle the Baylor Golden Wave Band on New Year’s Eve.
“We’ve got a little over 300 people who will be joining us on the official tour, we’re really happy with that number,” said Maria Giggy, MSU Alumni Association. “It’s not anywhere near what we had for the Rose Bowl last year, but that’s totally expected, the Rose Bowl is a once in a lifetime opportunity for a lot of people who have been waiting decades for it.”
If you want to be a part of all the excitement there are still a few tickets left for the New Year’s Eve event at the House of Blues and you can still get game day tickets for the Cotton Bowl.
