Mid-Michigan To Receive Conservation Grants

(WLNS) – If you are an outdoorsy person we have some good news.

The state is set to receive almost a million dollars in federal grant money to boost outdoor activity.

The money will be split between nine communities including two in mid-Michigan. Delta Township and St. Johns will get grants to help improve their outdoor recreation options.

State officials say the money will be used to help promote healthy lifestyles and boost local economies.
