Crime Stoppers: 2 Requests For Assistance, 1 Wanted For Felony

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – Crime Stoppers of mid-Michigan is asking for the public’s help to find one person wanted for a felony and for information on two cases.

Case 1: On Wednesday April 9 officers responded to a larcency from auto complaint, located at a business in the 300 block of Hosmer in Lansing. That morning the victim arrived at the business and discovered that someone had gotten into his truck and taken several items. Surveillance video shows a heavy set male checking out a truck in the lot and then entering the victim’s truck and stealing items.

Case 2: On Friday April 18, early in the morning officers were dispatched to the 4600 block of south Cedar to investigate an alarm. Upon arrival, officers observed one window to the south of the front door smashed. Video surveillance shows the suspect approached the business and grabbed a large rock. He then takes the same rock and breaks out a window. The suspect enters the store, grabs some merchandise and then flees. The individual pictured (orange hat) was in the store the day and is believed to have 1st hand information on the burglary.

Jon Michael Anthony has a felony warrant for forgery out of Lansing, MI. Anthony is 31, 6’1″ and weights 180 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
