Flint Mother Tracks Down Stolen Gift At Pawn Shop

FLINT, Mich. (AP) – A Flint mother tracked down her 6-year-old son's stolen Christmas present at a local pawn shop.

The Flint Journal reports the woman called police around 1 p.m. Saturday and told them that the $100 tablet was taken from her home a few days before the holiday, possibly by a family member.

The woman checked local pawn shops and found the tablet that was intended as her son's gift. There's no immediate word of any arrests.
