Ithaca 36 – Sanford Meridian 0

We journeyedup US 127, to the Ithaca palace who hosted Sanford-Meridian.

In the first quarter, it was 3-0 yellowjackets and Travis Smith passed deep. But this one was intercepted by Monte Petree from Meridian. That stopped an Ithaca drive, which had not happened much in the season.

With Meridian on offense, Daniel Johnson passed deep. And Logan Hessbrook said he could top it. He interecepted to stop a drive, and got the yellowjackets' motor going.

Hessbrook played on offense too. In the second quarter, Travis Smith passed to Hessbrook. That set up the jackets' next score.

Travis smith looked for his man, and found Jacob Smith in the endzone. for a Smith-to-Smith touchdown for the jackets.

The yellowjackets turned the ball over five times, and still got a shutout. That made it a national record 52 wins in a row, with a 36-0 Ithaca win.
