Grass Lake 31 – Parchment 10

In the Cascades conference, Grass Lake hosted Manchester.

The Warriors got right to work in the second half, as Drew Plensdorf pounded it in from a yard out. Grass lake was up 21-3.

Manchester needed a spark, and they found it in a fake punt. Senior Austin Rathburn tossed it to fellow senior Jim Kurasz, who converted on fourth down.

Two plays later, the Flying Dutchmen scored as Trevor Humphery deked out the defense, then outran them for six.

But that was all she wrote on Parchment. Grass lake won 31-10 to move on to game two, thanks to an improved offensive line performance.
