DeWitt 14 – Haslett 6

Haslett students made the trip to DeWitt, along with the best drumline in the Lansing area.

DeWitt quarterback Jake Johnson was back after a spleen injury that kept him out for a few weeks. Two touchdowns in the first half, but Haslett's defense kept him quiet in the second.

Haslett was trailing 14-6 late into the fourth, and tried to spark a go-ahead drive. But the DeWitt defense standed tall. John Michael-Moody got the sack, and Dewitt then had a chance to run out the clock.

Haslett without any timeouts, got a first down by Ben Heinritz to clinch it.

All the scoring was in the first half, before we got there. DeWitt held on for a 14-6 playoff win, and Jake Johnson looked good in his return.
