Flint Fire Determined Arson

FLINT, Mich. (AP) – Authorities say a fire at a Flint apartment complex where one woman died has been determined to be arson.

The Flint Journal reports evidence collected following Thursday morning's fire at Ballenger Manor apartments determined that it was intentionally set.

Police are investigating the woman's death as a homicide. Her identity hasn't been released. Tips about the case are being sought.

The fire left 25 to 30 people homeless. The American Red Cross is helping the displaced residents with food and lodging at a hotel.
