Man in Custody for String of Break-Ins

Albion Police have a 33-year-old man in custody who they believe is responsible for a string of break-ins in the area.

Around 7a.m. Wednesday, authorities responded to a call of someone going through belongings in their bedroom in the 400 block of Lombard Street in Albion.

The person fled, but was tracked to a house two blocks away and arrested. Police expect to charge him Thursday. A second person was also arrested, but later released.
