6 News and the Muscular Dystrophy Association team up every year for one of the biggest TV productions for a very important cause: to fight against the neuromuscular disease.
This year's MDA event is a little different than in the past.
“This year we are going to shorter show and stronger line-up,” said Colleen Connoly. “We are showing our strength by making a muscle and making a difference and we are still going to be showing our local sponsors, who make the programs possible.”
The show will run on Sunday, September 2nd on 6 News, from 8pm to 11pm. It's time for all of us to make a muscle and make a difference for the MDA.
Firefighters from Lansing Township were out Friday asking folks to “Fill the Boot” for the MDA. They'll be on patrol at the Eastwood Towne Center all weekend from 10 a.m. to 5p.m. asking people to contribute what they can.
