Ultrasound

(Image 1)

Ultrasound imaging, also known as sonography, uses high-frequency sound waves to produce images of various parts of the body. Using ultrasound a radiologist can visualize many organs, veins and arteries. At MSU we have certified vascular sonographers on staff and all imaging is performed by registered and/or certified Technologists. All images are read by board certified radiologists, doctors who specialize in reading ultrasounds and other imaging.
